Untitled Tapestry
A looped projection constructed from various videos and stills from the internet. This includes the assembly of various free relaxation and mediative youtube videos, holiday landscape stills and temples section. These are re-constructed into this lurid utopian landscape with the shifting star lined sky and mirrored waterfalls continuously looping. This loop gradually slows over the course of 10 mins shifting the video from moving image to still landscape. At its peak, 1 second of the original video is stretched to 1 minute of slowed footage. This gradual decline from moving image to stills evokes a sense of anxiety and lag that continues as the stuttering becomes ever present.
