I’m so lucky to have found you

I’m so lucky to have found you is a double video channel projection displayed on two opposing walls. Both projections are broken up by 2D flats that lift the various pillars and mirror from the wall and present these as physical objects. At one end, a pink headless women stands arms stretched out and naked. Opposite a projected ornate gold mirror ‘reflects’ the scene. The audience is displaced between the two. Slowly, over the course of 10 mins the garish pink colouring of the figure becomes further saturated until she becomes a deathly grey. Both the mirrored version and ‘physical’ version colourings continue to drift out of sync with each other.
